The 2023 Inkwell Writing Workshop was held from July 22nd, 2023 to August 19th, 2023. Its purpose was to teach young writers grades 4-6 how to write their own poems and creative stories. During the workshop, our experienced instructors taught students the fundamentals of creative writing and poetry, guided campers through a variety of writing exercises and techniques, and brought out each student’s unique voice and style as a writer. They also participated in fun group activities, such as writing games and Night in the Museum. At the end of the workshop, we held a special poetry and creative writing showcase, where several of our students shared the work they had written in the workshop in front of their peers and their families.

This workshop was a huge success - 16 students attended our classes from the very first day, participating in class, writing amazing poems and stories, playing fun games, and presenting in front of the class. We've received lots of positive feedback from both students and their parents, saying that the workshop was fun and engaging and that the instructors' explanations and interactions with students were great.
