The 2024 Inkwell Writing Competition winners have been announced!
The Inkwell Writing Competition offered elementary and middle grade writers the chance to showcase their creativity and storytelling abilities. It invited young authors to refine their skills, receive valuable feedback, and compete with peers from across the nation. In the competition, participants were prompted to submit a short story of less than 1000 words based on the theme: A whole new world. There were 2 categories, one for rising 3rd-5th graders and one for rising 6th-8th graders.
We would like to thank all of the participants for submitting their work. After careful thought, we have selected 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners for each category. We are excited to announce them now:
